You forgot to mention that he rides a "real genuine Monark" racer.
He also told that to Göran Henningson when I happened to be nearby...very funny....Mr. Henningson turned red,blue and green and then wisely decided not to react.

@ Kalle..........the 17hp are on this testbench perhaps a little enthusiastic,does'nt matter because it is an indication to compare it with my other sachs,on the same bench it had 18 hp Rolling Eyes

I think you will not have a problem with me,the vikingstyle of racing is to heavy for me,i want to go home in 1 piece in my own car.......so i take it easy.
@Martijn.......Guido's bike is not a factory Monark.......it is a"Jan Bruins"replica Laughing

There is a progress in the Harmsen Sachs project...........
Last weekend it was driven by Martijn in the free practice at Brakel races,only half a lap before it broke down with a broken gear linkage and a clutch that doesn't work properly,pity but no problem.
I sorted all out and now it works like it ment to be,yesterday we made some testruns at Harry's place.......another tailpipe gives 2 hp more.....almost 19 bhp now.
I think we are going in the right direction Wink

I have started up my Suzuki project again,i am working on the engine to make it run.
The rough castings are now milled and machined to make everything fit,today i placed the cillinder and the head on the engine casing,next week the holes for the crackshaft and the gearbox will be drilled.
The cillinder is a russian ona,the head is a modified zündapp head,Sachs racing crank,Kawasaki 6 speed gearbox and a DKW clutch with Simson clutchplates(modified)......this will be converted to a dry clutch.
